We grew up navigating the exact same corners of Istanbul, living mere moments and two streets apart—yet our paths never crossed. It took crossing an entire ocean to finally bring those parallel lines together. In 2019, we met in San Francisco, a city defined by its sweeping bridges and deep waters, beautifully echoing the hometown we left behind.
Today, we build our lives in New York, yet another city shaped by currents and iconic spans. Water and bridges have quietly traced the geography of our entire love story. That is why we chose Istanbul. We are crossing the ultimate bridge back to where it all began, to host the people we love most in the city that first shaped us.
